Vertical shaft impact crusher (VSI) is a high-efficiency equipment that uses a high-speed rotating rotor to achieve self-crushing or impact crushing of materials. Since its application in the 1980s, it has become a core piece of equipment in the fields of manufactured sand production and stone shaping.
Two crushing modes:
“Stone-on-stone”: Material collides with each other, suitable for highly abrasive materials, with minimal equipment wear.
“Stone-on-iron”: Material impacts metal impact blocks, resulting in a high sand production rate.
Core advantages:
Excellent particle shape: Products are cubic, with extremely low needle-like and flaky content, high bulk density, and low iron contamination.
High crushing efficiency: High-energy design, large crushing ratio, combining fine crushing and coarse grinding functions.
High wear resistance: Material self-lining forms a protective layer, resulting in no wear on the machine body. The throwing head is made of extra-hard wear-resistant material, small in size, and easy to replace.
Good moisture adaptability: Less affected by material moisture content, with a moisture content of up to 8%, and less prone to clogging.
Low operating cost: Low energy consumption and low operating noise.
Flexible Installation: Lightweight, compact structure, and mobile installation.

Manufactured Sand Production: Preparation of high-quality artificial sand.
Aggregate Shaping: Shaping high-grade concrete aggregates for highways, railways, airport runways, municipal engineering, etc.
Asphalt/Cement Concrete: Production of road surface materials and subbase materials.
Mining Fine Crushing: Fine crushing process before grinding.
Environmental Protection Projects: Crushing of steel slag and construction waste; desulfurization of thermal power plants.
High-Purity Materials: Production of high-purity materials such as quartz sand.
